The faceless man poster Jacob's copy

This is the finished draft for my poster, I have followed the psychological horror genre that we used in our film. The font that I used for the title is 'Poplar STD', this font shows resemblance to fonts used for posters in other thriller/psychological horror films. I have included all of the standard elements for film posters, including: Awards, title, imagery, contributors, rating, formats, and more.

I have included the antagonist in the poster with a blurred face on a black background, as he is the main focus of the film. I have also split the image of his face into three different colours and slightly displaced each of them to give a 'glitched' effect. I think that this glitched effect is appropriate for the poster and the theme of the film.

The layout of my poster is essentially split into two halves. The first of these halves is all of the information contained on the poster laid out in a well ordered manner. The title is in the top left quarter, in large font taking up a lot of space. The billing box, awards, ratings, and other information is in the bottom left quarter. The second of these halves is the main imagery of the antagonist.

I used a pixelated blur effect in order to blur out the face of the antagonist, as is appropriate for our film. Overall I think the poster fits the theme of our film and the genre that we've tried to apply.
