Oscar Martin Draft Poster

This is my film poster for 'The Faceless Man.' I decided to use a black and white colour scheme too really emphasise our psychological thriller genre. The shadow casted on the protagonist face on the left combines well with the background and the faceless man having just a face with no features suits the title well. I used my research into consideration and decided to go for a simple kind of poster just like 'The Pig Child' and use the same sort of font for the title as spaced out text is very typical of a thriller. The positioning of the two characters is key as well with the faceless man being bigger than the protagonist on the left shows control which is exactly what's happening in the short film. I decided to give the poster a Sundance winner rating to attract viewers as Sundance is a respected and well thought of film festival. The background is one of my favourite parts of the poster with the white in the middle gradually getting darker until its consumed by darkness. Yet again this is a representation of the film with sanity being tainted by insanity.

  1. Very good poster work Oscar, with some justifications above, and submitted by the deadline. Well done! I think you could use the white space to quote from a couple of relevant review sources.
